Cultural-mass work in the Institute
is directed at preparing conscious national intelligentsia, forming the inner world and spirit of the future professional as well as developing a harmonious individuality.
"EKOMEN-club“ – the centre of students creative activity, was organized with the goal to activate cultural life of students, to discover creative abilities and to support their realization.
Students of the institute and youth of the city can attend the following clubs and amateur talent groups:
- Intellectual club „BRAIN-RING“;
- Club „KVK“;
- Foreign students club „FSC“;
- Students PRESS-CENTER;
- Discoclub;
- Amateur song club;
- Dance center „Action people“;
- Vocal studio;
- Music studio;
- Theatrical studio;
- Playing and singing band;
- Canvassers group
Artistic groups participate in different cultural events organized by the institute and in the events, organized by the city as well as in regional contests and festivals.
Artistic groups of the institute many times have been recognized and awarded with certificates, diplomas and gratitudes for their high level of performance.
Participants of the vocal studio, students-poets club and the band “Molfar” are the prize-winners in the National festivals of students creative activity “Colours of the autumn” and “Spring surge”.
The following events are traditional for the institute social life:
- Students initiation ceremony;
- Graduation ceremony (the prom);
- Fall ball;
- Student’s holiday;
- Victory Holiday;
- St. Valentine’s Day.
Besides, there are evening events and discos, concerts given by artistic groups, New Year masquerade, contests in brain-ring, KVK-club games, show-contest “Miss and Missis EKOMEN”.
